  • Visit the official website: Go to https://bpssc.bih.nic.in/ – the official website of the Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission.
  • Navigate to ‘Prohibition Department’: Look for the tab labeled ‘Prohibition Department’ on the website.
  • Click on ‘Admit Card – Sub Inspector (Prohibition & Vigilance) 2023-24’: Once in the ‘Prohibition Department’ section, find and click on the option that reads ‘Admit Card – Sub Inspector (Prohibition & Vigilance) 2023-24’.
  • Provide your details: Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth in the designated fields.

The BPSSC has officially released the exam details for the Sub Inspector (Prohibition and Vigilance) post. The exam will be conducted in offline mode with a duration of 120 minutes. A total of 100 objective questions will cover topics from General Knowledge & Contemporary Issues.

Important Note: Aspiring candidates for the SI (Vigilance / Prohibition) recruitment exam should be aware that each question carries 2 marks, and in the case of an incorrect response, a deduction of 0.2 marks will apply. Stay prepared and best of luck!

What after the BPSSC SI Prelims 2023-24?

For those gearing up for the Sub Inspector Preliminary exam, it’s important to note that successful candidates will progress to the Mains, expected to occur in March or April 2024.

In the Mains, there will be two Papers, each featuring 100 multiple-choice questions. Paper I will cover General Hindi and Paper II will encompass Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, General Studies, General Science, Maths, and Mental Ability Test.
